Hands-on Home Maintenance Curriculum – Learn more

The Negative Impact of Paying a Payment 30 Days Late

This site is our online gateway to educational resources offered for homeowners (Habitat and non-Habitat families). Our training focuses on programs that help homeowners, and addresses topics from home maintenance and repairs: plumbing, weatherization, internal and external maintenance, etc. to financial education or money management: budgeting, savings and credit, etc.; from crime prevention to energy savings, and more.

Note: Enter into the Kate B. Reynolds Charitable Trust Housing Education Center through the double doors on the lower level. This is the main entrance and the location of our training classrooms and computer lab.

Please review the Calendar for the current classes scheduled and open to the general public. Note: View all Events or select the “Training & Education” category from the drop-down Categories menu. If you are a current Habitat homeowner, click the Education Center button top left and enter the password to access the secured site designed specifically for our partner families.

Registration Process – how do you sign up for available training sessions?

Once you have decided on a class you’d like to attend, complete and submit the Registration form. Minimal fees may be charged for some courses to cover materials and operating expenses.

Cancellation Policy:

If you register for a class but cannot make it, it is very important that you cancel your reservation at least a day before the scheduled class.

If Habitat has to cancel a class for any reason (e.g. inclement weather), we will make every effort to do so by phone at least a day in advance. Therefore, please be sure to include a reliable way to contact you (phone or email).
